meloneras boulevard a lovely day can be had here with the best restaraunts in the area and some grand shops an angel shark 30 pounder caught by chris shows that sea fishing from the shore can be a heavenly experience. a pickwicks wee bash with big tony aberdeen lass and big baz also bfrank and mactily for good measure bfrank strutting his stuff in pickwicks the ferry a very convenient way to have a day out at sea whilst heading to the many markets The Amadores Beach club an ideal way to spend a lovely day by the sea with luxury double sun loungers to sunbathe from Paragliding just one of the many activities taking place from the sea Another sea activities is the sea sport arranged by the Barracuda Dos go carting another fun day out with a top notch brands hatch in san augustan puerto mogan always worth a visit and a market is held here on a Friday lIf you love Karaoke well there is no shortage of it here with many of the bars catering for the would be singers our own sunshine girl snapped in pickwicks not often it appens but when the lass is there watch out for her vocal cord practicing lol Pete & Carla our hosts from Pickwicks. If you want to meet the many forumers that frequent here the this is the bar to visit another forumers wee bash kiddie play areas you can almost find them in every area this one is located at the europa centre in Puerto Rico its amazing the strange creatures from the blue lagoon thay manage to find pickwicks having a party going to a fancy dress night out need celebration cards then this is the place to get all of these things plus more situated up at the europa centre in pr. adjacent to xtreeemzs across the car park. paradise tattoo bar in puerto mogan if you want a tattoo and a good day out in the bar this is highly recommended where the tattoos are done in the paradise tattoo bar and these premises are absolutely spotless the taradise tattoo bar area pleny of shops restaraunts and bars in the commercial centre for the ladies another pastime below is sailing readily available in puerto ico need advice then try the turismo behind the fountain in puerto rico one of the many nice views from the rui in puerto rico a nice taxi run to puerto mogan and not expensive when there are four of you in the taxi the tunnel ahead is as you approach from tauro sightseeing in puerto mogan bring in lots of these plaster murals and another from puerto mogan another great pastime is shore fishing and this one landed by big tonys son almost landed on my plate at the bar pio pio the lovely beach at puerto mogan looking across to the harbour now this has to have been one of our best days out in a long while and yes elvis was in the paradise tattoo bar that day. we headed out to puerto mogan in a taxi early one fri. morning took in the market had a bite to eat then up to the paradise tattoo bar for to get cheryls tattoo done and we took in the elvis show and sang a good few songs all in the same bar if you ever get the chance try spending a friday afternoon with brian & jan in the very friendly premises our cheryl after getting the chery cole tattoo on her hand im against tattoos to an extent but like that one who would believe it daily bingo sessions at the riu vistamar brings a new meaning to the word entertainment lol now this is really worth a go a days buggy touring and as you can see all the details are on the buggy another night view of amadores beach big jim demonstrating a buggy money to exchange this is the place to go in puerto rico another for the sports minded golf at tauro puerto rico water park from the top of the hill great day out for the kids this is the fantastic crazy putting course up at the europa behind the barbacoa another shot of the crazy golf up by the europa the road in to the city of las palmas a lovely days outing to be had here and so much to do one of the many sculptures to be seen in firgas big tony trying to draw milk from concrete up in firgas a lovely chapel in firgas interior of the firgas chapel for every stepped part of the stepped waterfalln in firgas there is a bench seat to relax and enjoy the moment the famous firgas stepped waterfall another of the waterfall always worth a wander round for the sights in puerto moga

I was highly impressed by the staff here a very friendly lot. anyone remember amadores in this form parasols before they put up the bamboo shoots the construction has started at amadores chris with the staff at puerto sol mines a bacardi entertainment at the babacoa who are they? bistro frere the year it opened wow looking east towards where the motorway is now and look at all the bare land which is covered in houses hotels and the shell garage now somewhere down there is marybjs new house and clinic the cainama in days gone by another view from the cainama sunburnt arms europa centre what is it now lovely service in paddys oneils happy drinkers in paddy oneils bar in the europa pr beach as you have never seen it irish cottage in playa amadores before you ask no it is not me it is before rab.cs time also in the sunburnt arms an arm and a leg to get into paddy oneils bar askimrefs wife with a staff member of paddy oneils bar happy revellers in the irish cottage a lovely member of staff from the irish cottage another from the bistro frere swimwear goes back a long way here puerto rico harbour in days gone by this looks just the same at puerto mogan

]]> Wed May 25 2005 marina suites http://rab.c.fotopic.net/c337618.html THE NUMBER ONE HOTEL IN PUERTO RICO Thanks to the generosity of Owen, Brian and Chris, and Aubs slade all of Canary forum I have managed to compile a full insight to the Marina Suites the fantastic setting of these apts andThe internal ones of the room shows these to be real luxury and are guaranteed to be in big demand in the years to come. these new apts also have air conditioning a godsend in the long hot summer months We have now spent 2 weeks here may 2005 and we have to say that these are by far the best we have stayed in. you receive clean beach towels every day and breakfast is served in the poolside restaraunt every day and it is a full breakfast really very good.no real need to self cater here at the prices. an internet connection is also available here for a modest 15 euros a week a bad point I have to bring to light is that the marina have now become very popular and because of this it is very difficult to keep a room on your last day even harder to keep hold of your complimentary towels and get a shower facility time if you are leaving late evening. the reception staff were finding it very hard to cope under the pressure in August and things were sometimes getting a bit heated. a small price to pay for your other 13 brilliant days. August was our third visit to the suites and they have taken of big time but still plenty loungers to go round. As of now 2006 the two a la carte restaraunts have now been merged and changed to a buffet restaraunt which will prove popular to families. Wednesday 10 November 2004: THE NUMBER ONE HOTEL IN PUERTO RICO Thanks to the generosity of Owen, Brian and Chris, and Aubs slade all of Canary forum I have managed to compile a full insight to the Marina Suites the fantastic setting of these apts andThe internal ones of the room shows these to be real luxury and are guaranteed to be in big demand in the years to come. these new apts also have air conditioning a godsend in the long hot summer months We have now spent 2 weeks here may 2005 and we have to say that these are by far the best we have stayed in. you receive clean beach towels every day and breakfast is served in the poolside restaraunt every day and it is a full breakfast really very good.no real need to self cater here at the prices. an internet connection is also available here for a modest 15 euros a week a bad point I have to bring to light is that the marina have now become very popular and because of this it is very difficult to keep a room on your last day even harder to keep hold of your complimentary towels and get a shower facility time if you are leaving late evening. the reception staff were finding it very hard to cope under the pressure in August and things were sometimes getting a bit heated. a small price to pay for your other 13 brilliant days. August was our third visit to the suites and they have taken of big time but still plenty loungers to go round. As of now 2006 the two a la carte restaraunts have now been merged and changed to a buffet restaraunt which will prove popular to families.

They were being renovated when these pics were taken and looked rather stunning but! that was a few years ago. The apts are very handy for the europa centre and all of its bars and restaurants. Reason being that the brits occupy one and the germans the other. But anyway another prime location with a great view of the smaller marina and an exceptionally large sun terrace. There used to be a bit of noise from the main road here but! I think the new motorway has taken a bit of that away Also a nice snack bar here some nice views now added from alter egotist Saturday 6 November 2004: The punta del rey consists of two blocks and I dont really know if both blocks are the same. Reason being that the brits occupy one and the germans the other. But anyway another prime location with a great view of the smaller marina and an exceptionally large sun terrace. When we used these apts we had a fantastic view of the new motorway bridge being built across the valley also of the terraza mar also being constructed at the same time,and the same pic shows the aqua park nestled between the two.Like most apts this complex also has its fair share of cats which is not a problem if you dont feed them. My wife made a mistake of buying cat food and feeding a pregnant one BIGGGG MISTAKKKKE we ended up with about 12 every morning squealing to be fed.The apartments are like most other apts in the area basic but more than adequate.Steps down to the shops are 50mtrs down the hill then by the side of the cumana. This is a hotel with a lot of luxury to it and has views to behold.Rooms are just great with all the facilities req. to make it a first class holiday.We actually felt that we were on a cruise aboard a ship rather than a hotel when we were there with the views from our room.
